@foxhuntuk: Fox hunting remains one of the most controversial issues surrounding Britain’s countryside. People on both sides have strong opinions - but how often do we actually hear those opinions discussed openly, respectfully and directly? So here’s the question: If I were to go LIVE, would hunt supporters, opponents, saboteurs and those who simply aren’t sure be willing to join the conversation and debate fox-hunting laws? This wouldn’t be about shouting over each other. It wouldn’t be about insulting people because they disagree. And it certainly wouldn’t be about pretending there is only one side to the argument. It would be about putting the arguments on the table. 🐎 Why do supporters believe hunting should be legal? 🦊 What do opponents believe should happen instead? 🌳 What role should farmers and rural communities have in wildlife management? ⚖️ Has the current law achieved what it was intended to achieve? 📜 Should the Hunting Act be strengthened, changed - or repealed? 🤝 And can people with completely opposing views actually have a constructive conversation? I would join, Yes.. as we never hear sensible discussions and it’s always interesting to hear sensible discussion openly debated creating an informative discussion/dialogue that ends positively by creating an informed reasoned response or best end decisions on best practices about an emotive topics. Because it’s so important to both sides it’s hard to have sensible dialogue maybe simple ground rules no talking over each other, respectful communication, listening time and talking time equal to all, with a series of questions like you have listed to debate.
