ballers gate three were in the zhents hideout...combat ensues were in the northernmost alcove like the boss's office my friend was throwing barrells there was a fire i was a gold dragonborn and I was fighting all of them smiting and casting spells this idiot throws a gunpowder barrel thinking its normal and it hits the flaming balcony that IM FIGHTING ON BLOWS UP THE BALCONY DROPS ME OFF A CLIFF IM DOING DEATH SAVES AND HES FRANTICALLY SHOOTING ANYTHING THAT MOVES we still laugh about it.

My wifecame across the first mind flayer and it was asking for love and she said whats the worst that could happen? Well she sucked face killing her and shadow heart where I, a ranger, proceeded to try and solo a mind flayer. Needless to say I died.

If it was the cave between the druid sanctuary and burned out town, those NPCs throw molotov cocktails as well at the front of the cave. You were guaranteed to die.

You did fight wrong! Barbarian snakes up to the gnoll on hill top and opens by throwing or pushing him down to others. Then that starts combat timer, wizard is still out. Then pause and wait!! Have wizard sneak around to all other enemies and place barrels next to them while they’re locked in combat. Wizard backs up and fireballs ….watch and enjoy the show as all gnolls go up in one shot 🧙♂️
