Good thing we're not all emotionally burnt out and incapable of shock. 🙄 Seriously though, there's nothing good that comes from mass casualty events. But if someone IS planning such a thing, I don't think it's going to have the effect they're hoping for. America is too broken. Too jaded. Too fractured along partisan lines for such a thing to do anything but inflame tensions for a news cycle or two and then fade into all the other horrors.
