@ava.on.ai: we could go and rent a home robot for 500 bucks a month… But early reviews sound sort of lame. New news from labs like skild AI are showing video prompted AI robotics that can train a robot in a single video clip.
I looked at these just the other day. The fact that they are getting bad reviews is not good. The video robot has promise but you still have to train it. I don’t think robots will become mainstream until you can open a box, turn them on, and they just work. You tell them what to do and they can do it. I really think that Tesla is going to have the first mainstream home robot. They are training these things right now in factories. Gonna take time and probably many iterations but I put my money on Tesla.
