First Class is the only X-Men movie where the team seems really like a) students b) actual friends. That's then surrounded by this great revenge story of Magneto.. That bar scene alone... First Class you will always be famous to me

First Class uses a lot of a script from when they were originally gonna do an X-Men Origins: Magneto. We were apparently supposed to get a whole Origins series and it just didn’t pan out because Wolverine was so bad.

There was a “Magneto Origins” film planned but got scrapped after how bad “Wolverine Origins” turned out, think it got partially merged into what became “First Class”

Funny this came up on fyp. That scene lives rent free in my head. I quote it all the time😂 such a big fan of those films😂: Angel.Azazel.Emma.Banshee. Mutant brothers and Sisters- ALL DEAD! Countless others experimented on-butchered. Where were you Charles!? We were supposed to protect them! Where were you when your own people needed you. Hiding- you and Hank, pretending to be something you’re not. You, abandoned us all.
