Can’t believe I had actually used the exact same reference (the og photograph) to create a goldfish piece with colour pencils, about a year ago!!! Crazy to see it pop up!

The most confident one was definitely the least interesting. The heron and the goldfish were beautiful and the deer was good but changing the task of the frog I feel like it’s kind of cheating and the colors did not blend as realistically as the others did well so it just looked kind of like an amateur. It’s good and I will never be able to paint as fast or as well as he did, but definitely not as professional as the others not as humble as the others, and didn’t even follow the task like the others. Confidence is good but pride blinds you and as an artist you can’t afford being blind.
