I was in 3rd grade. I remember my teacher in the middle of a lecture get a phone call, she answered it and talked for couple minutes then hung up and said "class we need to stop for moment somethings happened". then she turned on the tv and we watched it all live. it was very quiet in the halls during dismissal like something had happened at our school even tho we were in a completely different state, so I didnt understand what was going on. when i got home from school that day everything on the radio and news was coverage of the attack.
