i feel like instead of just letting any gif go they could have let the streamer pick gifs to have available for use. kinda like discords stickers and just have it take up a set of slots like the emotes do. this is just sooo stupid and is going to be a nightmare for auto moderation imo.

I personally dislike the intergration of GIFs on most platforms tbh cause a lot of people use them to be mean and hateful while getting around filters that would normally block thst type of hate/harassment.

while I'm not a fan of spamming (which includes for me messages and also GIFs, that are in enormous size, taking the whole chat space), I'm all for giving subscribers on any platforms direct approaches to unsubscribe if wanted. Many ppl lose money from subscriptions for everything and this is in fact consumer friendly. For sure not friendly for ppl who earn money from subscriptions.

if they added a feature for T2 subs to use and you turned it off, its fair for them to notify people you've turned it off. I dont see the problem? if someone subscribes to your channel as a tier 2 before the gif feature, they likely won't unsub so who cares?
