@philstille: If you smoke weed and have been thinking about letting go of it because it feels like it is weighing you down, there may be a different way to make headway here. A good question to ask yourself is broader than how often you use it or whether you should quit: how do you actually feel in your life right now? How do you feel in your relationships, your sense of purpose, your work, your sense of self, and where your life is going? When there is dissonance in one or more of those areas, it can be easy to look at cannabis and assume the plant is the thing holding everything back. Taking time away from it can absolutely be helpful for a lot of people, and sometimes that distance makes certain patterns easier to see. But we are all different, and meaningful headway can also be made in these areas without removing cannabis from your life. That is why I think it is useful to look beyond cannabis itself and get honest about what else may be asking for attention. As those areas begin to change, the relationship with the plant tends to change with them.

Meh :
I told my husband this the other day, weed is like a mirror. It’s going to show you what you need to see good or bad honey. It’s medicine of the mind. 🥰
