Honestly, as a teacher, I disagree. It’s not bad because of low pay. It’s bad because parents require nothing from their kids and when we call home to tell them Johnny flipped us off, they ask us what we did to deserve that.

It’s annoying as shit when I hear “well they knew the pay was bad. They knew what they were signing up for.” Ok great so with that logic no one should become a teacher and then what? Teachers do so much and they are the person who is caring for your child all day 5 days a week but sure, they don’t deserve more money. 🙄
