what's the point of having a federally mandated stable coin with lending regulations if banks can create their own outside of it...is it then not a stable coin? And if it is not, then it is not backed currency which means everything is just YOLO. we are just living on fumes.

This don’t make no sense The US is in $40 trillion worth of debt. The crypto market is only valued at 2 trillion. That’s the whole crypto market. The numbers don’t add up.

The government is creating it's own stablecoin. Available to any individual in the world. So someone in an African country who has poor currecy, they can put their money in the US stablecoin, backed by the US dollar. So instead of nations buying the debt, it's own people will. This will help fund the debt.

I would never trust any government that was $40 trillion dollars in debt so let the US transition to stable coin as soon as I get paid I would go straight and trade the stable coin into gold I don't want your worthless f****** coins more likely China will make the rules people are done with the US
