my favorite part of this comic is how much they hype up magog before supermans return, they make it sound like magog beat superman and is some ultimate physical threat but then they pull the rug out and reveal the truth that the people chose magog over superman, and the violence he represented over justice

Injustice Superman is a pretty surface level reactionary character that takes the traditional Superman but made evil approach, while Kingdom Come Superman is written as a metaphor for traditional superheroes being replaced by the edgy gritty characters that were popularized in the 1990’s.

Injustice is an elseworlds comic that shows us a different superman you don't have to like it but it's not mischaracterization or bad writing it's just a different character

I think I’m one of the few Superman fans that likes Injustice story. YES I KNOW IT IS OUT OF CHARACTER FOR SUPERMAN TO BECOME A TYRANT/DICTATOR. However that story made Superman human in a way that other Superman comics don’t really portray him to be. No I don’t want our Superman to be anything like injustice Superman, I love our mainline Superman. However with the multiverse established, I think it’s ok for some a variant Superman to not be “perfect”. Of course this storyline is still a 6.5-7.5/10 story but overall I think it’s good.
