In my interviews when working in the private sector for someone else, I make it very clear that I don’t do “passive” communication, hierarchies or bullshit. We are all here to do a job, and mind games will not be tolerated.

What gets me is not being able to tell which ideas in a meeting or email are performative and which ones are supposed to stick. Most of the ideas seem equally batshit from where I sit. trying to tell the difference gives me indigestion.

I’m 42 and I am trying so hard to just be who I want to be. But I’ve masked so much my whole entire life that even I question what is me and what is influence of masking. Also, I didn’t know I was neurodivergent until my late 30s. So I am still unpacking A LOT while trying to finally be authentic 🫤 then dump in the fact that I realize how many things around us is fake…it’s like the adult version of finding out there’s no Santa

I mostly didn't pretend, but I also didn't get the others and their social things, my environment at home was safe I think I was accepted at home maybe I am just stupid I don't know.. yes I noticed some years ago neurotypicals are like sheep, well I wasn't following that world, it irritates me. I done this way before I found out I was autistic, I bought 2 xmas fairy tree decorations today just because they were cute, I have no intention to wait till Xmas they are to sit on the end of the shelf lol I'm 51 and I'm being me, I don't care what others think anymore
