When defending Ahlebait (ع) gets you labeled an MI6 agent, maybe it’s time to ask ourselves: are we defending the truth—or defending our own comfort? Today, when someone speaks about the rights and virtues of Ahlebait (ع) and supports their words with the Qur’an and Sunnah, some within our own community are quick to label them, insult them, or question their intentions. But since when did speaking the truth become proof of being an enemy? If presenting evidence for Haqq makes someone an agent, then remember: Haqq has never depended on majority approval. Can we love Imam Ali (ع) while refusing to discuss those who opposed him? Can we love Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra (س) while being afraid to discuss the injustices of history? Can we mourn Imam Hussain (ع) while being afraid to speak about the forces that stood against him? Truth does not become false because people reject it. Falsehood does not become truth because people accept it. Haqq is Haqq. Batil is Batil. Our loyalty should be to Haqq—not to personalities, pressure, trends, or fear.
