Leian Lieza Galang and Gilbert Chico tied the knot in hip-deep floodwater inside the Saint John the Baptist church in Hagonoy town, north of Manila, on Tuesday. The couple were advised to postpone their special day after severe flooding submerged the town in August with monsoon rains causing 34 deaths across the country, but they didn't want to delay their nuptials. Footage of the ceremony shows the bride, in a white gown and clutching a bouquet of matching flowers, wading down the aisle as murky floodwater sloshes around her.
