I'm here in the U.S. and the name of Lake Ontario won't change for myself and a lot of others. The Gulf of Mexico will also not change. You are such a beautiful person, something that we in the U.S. need more of so thank you for always being a bright light. That sage is some of the most beautiful sage I've seen. As a person who lives on Iroquian land I will always call the lake Ontario but if someone else calls it something else I won't intentionally misunderstand them. What they call it doesn't make the lake and smaller or less shining.

Grandma Sherri I have a question. I have the utmost respect for the native peoples of this country and I gravitate to the teaching of the native peoples. I live on an acreage that I am the custodian for. Prairie sage grows on it and every time I walk buy I feel like I would like to smudge with it but honestly don’t know if I am “allowed to” as a white woman. I want to respect your traditions. I love this land and I love your culture. Is it ok to pick some and smudge with it?

that's so touching Sherry. and so respectful to go and honor your grandparents and the land you grew up on. that's lovely.im lucky to be able to visit the land my ancestors and I lived on( it's less than 2 hours away from where I live)and I take gifts to my grandparents and fathers Graves.
