It would be so easy to make them cave just don’t pay them and bring the AAA players up. People will still watch it regardless and I guarantee you it wouldn’t just be AAA players that would play some of the lower paid MLB players would cave first.

They want a floor for the fans suffering watching a lackluster team. But not a cap so you can get paid big checks and make a super team to win. There’s not enough talent in the league for every team to have 5 superstars in the lineup and 5 aces. There needs to be a floor and a cap. We need to go back to 2 aces, 1 superstar in the line up, a few all star worthy hitters, a the supporting cast. Thats real baseball.

Boo hoo don’t care. Every American sports league has a cap. MLBPA is going to shut down baseball and just to protect Juan Soto and Shohei Ohtani getting a billion dollars instead of like $800m at the expense of every baseball fan and the 99% of players who would see pay increases under a cap and revenue sharing
