Put a corded bug zapper over a ground hornet nest then a trash can over that. It was epic. Laughed from the garage the rest of the afternoon.

I love all pollinators, but yellow jackets burrow underground just so they don’t pollinate anything and don’t count (my theory). Hate those effers.

Tried this with wasps, they are way more resilient… however, i found out the lil chipmunks love the fried wasps as crunchy snacks. Got a video of it

my method too but I use the racket with usb cable to an extended battery and it will burn them into a pile of ash for 12 hrs running 👍

I hit a nest while weedeating ended up with 11 stings the pain was horrible at first i wasnt sure what was happening i had shorts on and my legs were on fire and i was on the ground screaming trying to get my boots off because they were in my shoes my husband picked me up carried me in the house and a few minutes later he found one that had managed to follow us in and was still after me 🤦♀️so as soon as I could function I poured gas on the nest set it on fire and watched it burn

Wait till dark. Cover up your skin. Spray a whole can of wasp spray into the nest. Keep spraying until you use the whole can. It worked for me.
