@tavelarocque: Day 84 of the @HigherUpWellness speak your mind challenge. the first thing a manipulator takes from you isn't your money or your mind. it's your other people. study how cults, abusers, and con men actually work, and there's one move underneath all of them: isolation. because as long as you have other people, you have reality checks. friends who say "that's not okay." family who notice you've changed. voices outside the frame that can tell you the truth. so the first thing a manipulator does is cut those voices off, slowly. they get between you and your friends, your family, anyone who might break the spell, until they're the only source of truth you have left. an isolated person is a controllable person. that's not an accident. it's the strategy. the people pulling you away from everyone who loves you aren't bringing you closer to them. they're removing your witnesses. keep your people close, connection is the one thing they can't manipulate through. #psychology #manipulation #relationships #awareness #philosophy
