and in the moment i think, ‘this is gonna last forever’ but then it doesn’t and when im presented tragedy again i know it’ll pass so i disregard the pain i feel now in hopes i can heal the same way the girl who actually went through the emotions did. i can be sad and let my eyes hurt from crying so much and still hope tomorrow is the day. can i allow myself that much? rather than an ultimatum between pure chaos or self neglect.
