Next time, bring two spoons! one for him to practice feeding himself and one for you to help feed him. It’s a great little trick to help him become more independent! 😊

I went through the same thing when my daughter was 9 months old. her pediatrician suggested giving her foods she could feed herself. it worked and she grew up happy and healthy.

Hear me out…3 spoons/forks. 1 for each of his hands, 1 for mama to feed him. When he grabs yours, you grab whichever he just put down. He feels independent and actually gets food in his belly
