@connectiveclimbing: 2 weeks down, 10 to go! Unfortunately, I tweaked my finger a couple weeks ago while climbing in the gym :( I ended up getting the injury diagnosed at Certified Hand Therapy in Boulder, CO by Mitzi... it turns out I have a full A2 pulley tear. (Not sponsored! Paid with my own $$) The good news: I got fitted with a pulley ring to support the injury while it heals, which means I can still climb during my 12 week recovery! It’s a huge privilege to have access to this type of care, and I’m really happy to have a plan that lets me stay active instead of being completely off the wall. I’ll be sharing more about the diagnosis, pulley ring, and recovery process as I go! Watch our video on YT if you want to see more about the diagnosis. #handinjury #climbinginjury
I’m struggling to heal my lumbrical tear, any tips? It’s been 3 months ):

Do you have to have it fitted by a doctor or can you buy them online.
I think I have done something similar to this with my middle finger, it is very painful at the moment.
