my dumbass has been putting mashed potatoes in a pan for years wondering why I couldn't get perfect little tiny pancakes and just got weird fried mashed potatoes..... I thought it just had to be cold leftover potatoes 🤦🤦🤦

These are already my favourite side dish. The things I’d do to get my hands on that cook book. I lost my connection to that culture a few generations ago, but we held onto the potato pancakes and perogies 🥰🥰🥰

the most suprising part is that poland didint have teritory for 123 years and were brutally opressed and stripped off out of our culture by germans russians and austro-hungary and we still managed to get our teritory back and the culture survived👍
