No we have millennial parenting. It’s a weird mix of emotional intelligence, acceptance for you they are, teaching and giving them the things we wished we had growing up. While also allowing natural consequences to happen, being very blunt, being loud as needed, and trying to so hard not to laugh when they ignore your warnings end up with reality bitting them in the ass😆

Ours are 17 and 13 and if I don’t yell they claim they can’t hear me while simultaneously asking me why I always yell. Can’t win for nothing I tell you 😂

My daughter and son-in-law are both Marine Corps vets and there is no discussion or compromise at their house. I have 2 really good grandkids.
