caption!! like yes, shield gave daisy a family but that's because she gave all of herself to them 😭 she had nobody else, and any friends/acquaintances she had before shield, she likely dropped when she joined them. she gave her all to shield and that's not a very good thing, imo. it's honestly how i feel regarding coulson too. like at least everyone else on the team still had family outside shield. coulson and daisy did not. shield was they're family and they were literally all consumed by it. anywayyy, i wish more people realized daisy's relationship with shield definitely was complex

saw an edit with Daisy under hive in the intro talking about how Shield/Coulson collected misfits who had nothing else and so would be loyal to the death and do whatever was asked of them and honestly it was one of the best Daisy edits I've ever seen. people need to talk about the ambiguity and shadiness of Shield (AND COULSON) more, it's way more interesting than just a righteous agency of do gooders

SHIELD didn’t even know why they were doing it or who for, because the credentials it was done with were stolen by an agent that wasn’t HYDRA. Almost everyone on the original team died. The last person that was part of the original team went back into hiding and never knew she was safe
