When I was a retail manager, I found out that we were allowed to post jobs, but had no intention of hiring people. This was to tell the employees that Help was on the way. We were always shortstaffed.

I was told I'm overqualified multiple times for jobs that required resumes and experience. Between LinkedIn and Indeed, I got over a dozen rejection emails. Finally, after 2 months, I got a position I have no experience in and got the minimum pay rate because I was referred by a current employee

The amount of times I have set up an interview with the Ai assistant they make you talk to, just to use the gas and there and they are like ‘oh idk how you got the interview we aren’t even hiring at the moment.’ THEN WHY IS YOUR AI STILL SETTING UP APPOINTMENTS!!!!???

I started calling the company directly and asking a manager if they had any job openings because I was so tired of looking online and getting nowhere. I am now in the process of getting a job but haven’t officially started.
