hi! aquarium worker here (not at this aquarium a different one) thats a raccoon butterfly fish! we have one as well and he acts the same way! they can absolutely see us through the glass he was totally chasing her sparkles on the dress! they get super fascinated by light reflecting and come up to see if its food or something else! for him to do this over and over like this one was with your daughter means it was totally for playing/enrichment for himself, he was having as much fun as she was! at least as much fun as a fish can have
