@kevinolearytv: There is no balance when you are trying to win at the highest level. Success takes sacrifice, focus, and an obsession with getting the few things that actually matter done. If you can identify your three to five priorities and refuse to let anything distract you from them, you are already operating differently than most people.
I used to want that. Now I've decided that's something I could do but it's not worth it. I want to be semi successful and not miss to much time with my family!

Not worth it.. rather be poor and with a happy family than rich and unknown to my own family.

Having a family surrounded by love is being more rich than having money. Celebrities prove my point all the time …

Yep. I raised our kids practically by myself for the first 10 years while my husband worked his ass off. Luckily, I grew up with a successful father and was used to it. It all worked out well for us.

It’s very simple.
Focus on being successful and don’t get married or have children until you’re able to contribute to raising a family.
Why should your family suffer?

Accurate. Been so hard to have balance. 5 years in and I’ve hit points where I am drained. But I’m still here.

I did that on a smaller scale. Got my hair salon 5 years after graduating beauty school. I had a plan. I worked as a sales rep for beauty supply . Won every sales awaythey had my last year there including a car. Quit the sales job sold. The car made plans to open my salon at the time. I was a single parent two children. I feel bad for missing out a lot of their life, but I was still there for them as much as I could be, I love them with all my heart. But when people say you can have it all you can work you can have kids. They don’t know what the hell they’re talking about the people that say it takes a village. They know what they’re talking about. You do need help along the way.

What about finding the right person later in life when that “CEO” is ready for a loving soul connection relationship not just someone playing a role waiting to be what that “CEO” wants? Fairytale right? 🤷♀️When does marriage begin instead of being a business?

This was us too. And what’s maddening is the people who aren’t willing to make those sacrifices call those who’ve been successful “greedy” and “privileged”. No, baby, it’s called “blood, sweat and tears”!
