And get some site experience. Reading drawings and planning and coordinating means absolutely nothing without actual execution. Get on site as much as you can, get hands on experience as much as you can. Don’t rely solely on drawings and your computer. Get out there and put boots to dirt.

#1 drop out and get a construction job. college is no longer a requirement for high level construction management positions. If your smart and work hard, you can level up quickly. #2 learn Spanish
