BUT,”DONT STAY AT THE EMPIRE HOTEL”..First of all, the Air didn't work in the 1st room which was very hot it was turned on long enough to cool it down then shut off the first night the next night they moved me to the 2nd room the air would shut off at the same time every night around midnight , you’d call front desk and they said, “it's the breaker “ they are sending someone up by the time that someone got there, the air would turn on (someone is able to keep watch until then) and for only about a hour the temperature would get to about 80 degrees. The room had no safety lock on the door, or refrigerator, Very disappointed rooms could use a total upgrade scrap flaking paint/bathroom floor corners, new painted rooms, new carpet, trash bags in the rooms. Would not recommend The Empire Hotel Hotel to my worst enemy.. The only visual appeal was the lobby’s entrance and only because of the show “Gilmore girls”. for the amount spent on the room, would have been better spent at an Holiday Inn with a free breakfast in time square.. Leave the honest reviews up in stead of back pedaling with all the green dots as in (5 star hotel) not even close and the so called kind reviews which look very suspicious coming from the Response from Keenan D, Guest Services / Front Office at The Empire Hotel.. as they’re writing there own reviews all lies in the elevator I encountered numerous people who had the same complaints..
