@jeremystoomuch: Opening a salon suite has humbled me because WHY is it this hard to spend $1,000 on professional hair color 😭 And before anyone says “just go through a distributor,” where I live, CosmoProf IS the distributor. I literally went to a Schwarzkopf event, asked who I should work with to get my salon stocked, and once they heard I was in a salon suite the advice was basically, “sign up for CosmoProf and use the app.” Okay girl. So I did exactly that. Then I got a 15% off offer, built an entire color order thinking FINALLY something is going smoothly, and realized the discount applies to ONE PRODUCT. One tube. Be serious. 😂 At this point I’m seriously looking at Wella again because I remember being able to order a full salon setup and actually feeling like someone wanted my business. I don’t need anyone to hold my hand, but when you’re investing thousands of dollars into a professional color line, I absolutely care about education, support, formulation help, inventory guidance and having an actual relationship with the brand. Every single part of opening this suite has had some random little snag and THIS is exactly why stylist support matters.
