Ballroom is a different style and is a total 180 from what she’s been taught. The technique and everything is vastly different. This is coming from a former ballroom dancer. I can cha cha but I can’t do hip hop.

This is true! I’ve been dancing since I was 3 and my first ballroom class taught me how different it is and my body really had to unwire all of the inherent ways I learned to move in traditional dancing
