I had this same issue so I built 4 modes: 1) silent - we talk only in the chat window 2) type talk - I type but he talks 3) wake/sleep - all verbal but he can’t barge in 4) free talk - he’s free to speak anytime. I have a lot of people that come in and out of my office, so all 4 are very useful depending on the setting.

I have had the chat or voice option since the beginning but similar to you I ran into situations where my Javis (Sage), was only helpful on my desktop and I was trying to replicate it with a PWA on my phone and it always fell short. I focused on the logic and agents and then switched to telegram for my main mobile interface to receive updates and communicate. All stays aligned and synced with my main desktop application. Telegram has a lot of good functionality built in

You once made a video about how you should have made Trillion into a native app or something, how come you’re still using a browser local host? I’m trying to make my own one at the moment and building towards making it a native app on my pc and wondering if a browser local host is better.

I use this with S.A.W.Y.E.R. It’s very helpful for me when I am on the go I can just jump into the app! Love that context is never lost. Voice or chat available!

My original T.U.E.S.D.A.Y. Was chat only. When I switched her to STT, I built in a secondary and traditional chat interface that I call on demand. “Hey Tuesday, open chat” - too many ways to confuse the model with chatter or barking dogs in the background 😎. I’ve also been able to fine-tune STT to focus more on range and clarity. Tuesday is at version 13 now, and runs on local-only models - we should connect. I’m at clinto.ai

Sorry, what I meant is that you’d say that investing (the time and effort) into turning Trillion into an app was worth it, correct? It solved a lot of problems for you and I assume there were no trade offs.
