@newport_aquarium: 🎉 Happy Birthday, Shan! To mark the occasion, our hosts whipped up a special chum cake just for Shan! This shark ray pup has quite the origin story! Shan is one of 9 siblings born in Taiwan, later donated to aquariums across the US. Our hosts actually had a small hand in her journey, after her caretaker reached out to us on social media for advice on raising shark ray pups, we stayed in touch for months, never realizing we'd one day get to celebrate her birthday! 🦈 Happy birthday, Shan! Here's to many more chum cakes to come!🎂
