@aint.doin.right: Alright wound-care people… how the hell are you managing wounds in high-motion, high-traffic areas? 👇 Axilla, groin, elbows, joints, paws—basically anywhere Mother Nature decided would be the worst possible place to put a wound. Constant movement, friction, tension and moisture are already working against healing. Then we come along with a bandage that slips, bunches, restricts movement, or somehow ends up three inches away from where we originally put it. That’s one of the reasons WIMBA caught my attention. The idea of protecting a wound while actually accounting for the patient’s anatomy and movement makes a whole lot of sense. But I want to hear what everyone is doing right now. What works?
