A very simple and clear way to explain the US dollar hegemony. From export, import, paying interest loans, from the ADB, World bank, IMF etc. Creating a new foreign currency reserve means crashing the dollar, a collapse or a reset. Whatever you wanna call it, Russia and China together with Brics nation have nearly achieved that goal. Until, Russia-Ukraine happened and now the Iran-US/Israel war. The US successfully maintained the US dollar hegemony, now aside from the yuan, all BRICS currency are suffering including the Russian rubles. But I know, its only a matter of time before Russia realised that, a stable currency needs peace, security and trust. Africa, central Asia, south Asia and ASEAN are countries could have been absorb by Brics, because all of these countries have felt the economic & tariff war enforce by America at that time. It was soo close, until Russia like America engaged in war in Ukraine. And China was like, fuck. The status qou was maintained...and they will trapped russia there for a very long time.

Ok I see all the comments about gold and silver. If the dollar goes to crap, who’s going to work? So where do people expect to go spend the gold or silver? If you work for dollars, and it crashes, are you still showing up? Hell no you ain’t, work for free, sheeeeet! Got life flupped up. So now no one goes to work and you can’t spend the gold or silver. Seeing that it’s pointless to go to work, you don’t have money, so now the neighbors can’t buy your gold. Just wondering? lol
