Today my physical medicine doctor reconfirmed what my pain doctor said: my dystonia has caused my tendons to retract and without surgery there is not much we can do. But because of my crps they both have said absolutely hell no to surgery, along with the many other specialists that have refused to touch me. I want to at least try surgery but NOTHING in this world terrifies me more then crps. Its likely that the flare up that will come from surgery will cause my muscles to contract, forcing my foot right back into a dystonic position. I'm at such a loss. I just want to walk.
