@wunstays.aktiv: I promised myself from the beginning that I’d share the wins, the failures, and everything in between. So here’s what that little slip taught me. Lesson 1: That thing is genuinely not for me. After 323 days without it, I thought maybe I could test it. I was wrong. The headaches. The anxiety. The wild thoughts. The way it made me feel mentally. None of it was worth it. If anything, those two puffs reminded me exactly why I stopped in the first place. I don’t want to do it again. Not tomorrow, not in a few months, not when I hit another huge milestone. I’m done with it for life. Lesson 2: Addiction is no joke. You can have 30 days, 300 days, 3 years or 30 years behind you and still need to respect what you’re dealing with. Don’t test your willpower just because you feel like you’ve beaten it. That mindset can humble you very quickly. Being sober doesn’t mean you’re immortal. It means you’ve learned to live without the thing that once controlled you. Lesson 3: The experiment actually strengthened my decision. I thought taking two puffs might make me realise I could handle it. Instead, it made me realise how much I genuinely don’t want that life anymore. I don’t want the feeling. I don’t want the thoughts. I don’t want the anxiety. I don’t want to go back. And the final lesson: honesty will always win. I could lie to you. I could lie to my friends. I could lie to my audience and carry on posting like nothing happened. But I can’t lie to myself. I know what I did when nobody was watching. And I know that hiding it would only create another problem on top of the first one. So I’m choosing to tell the truth, even if it costs me followers, respect or opportunities. Because sobriety was never supposed to be about looking perfect. It was about becoming better. 323 days sober, two puffs, one very important reminder: never test your addiction just to prove you’ve beaten it. We go again. 🫡 #addictionisreal #weedaddiction #healingoutloud #sobercommunity #365dayschallenge

I wouldn’t even count this as a relapse. Your roommate needs to mindful about what he’s doing, smoking indoors in a shared house is disrespectful, especially if he knows your situation

Honestly, of course there is still work that needs to be done at your end..but you see you flatmate? You need to set boundaries with him. Temptation comes in different forms and this is a typical example of one. I trust you are not beating yourself too hard. You just keep it going!❤️❤️
