@factlab.daily: 153,359 Flights in 24 Hours — Aviation Just Set a New Record ✈️🌍 On 23 July 2026, global aviation reached an extraordinary milestone. Flightradar24 tracked 153,359 commercial flights in a single day, the highest daily commercial-flight total the service had ever recorded. That figure covered an enormous mix of aircraft moving around the planet — including passenger airlines, cargo operations, charter flights and some business aviation. The record arrived during the peak northern-hemisphere summer travel season, when millions of people are flying for holidays, family trips and major events. At the busiest moments, flight-tracking maps become so crowded that huge parts of Europe, North America and Asia appear almost completely covered by aircraft. Behind every one of those tiny icons is a real aircraft carrying passengers or cargo somewhere across the world — and more than 153,000 of them took to the skies in just one day. 🌎✈️ Follow @factlab.daily for more fascinating facts. #Aviation #FlightRadar24 #AirTravel #WorldFacts #FactLabDaily
