@moyadavid1: Meet Abdihafith who has been diagonised with Convulsive Disorder Regression of milestones after a febrile Illness. born through spontaneous vertex delivery. Baby cried immediately after birth. Attained neurodevelopmental milestones at the right time. Developed a febrile illness and convulsions and admitted in hospital for treatment. Diagnosis not known. Since then has been getting seizures, generalized tonic clonic in naturc. Has been Sodium Vaproate and Phenobarbitone. Thereafter has regression of milestones, sitting, standing and walking. Currently sits with support. Has some weight bearing but cannot walk. Clinicalty has gencrafized spastic rigidity. Electroencephalograph (EEG) showed features generalized epileptiform activity. MRI brain scan is normal. The patient needs Occupational therapy to train delayed milestones. Sodium Valproate, Phenobarbitone. Added Levitracetan with aim to remove Phenobarbitone slowly later.
