when i pull a magnetic plug i wipe it with a rag first. then I inspect it and it's always clean so I don't need to replace anything

a possible tool idea, watching you set hub on top of 5 gal pail. i been dreaming up making a plate that is little bigger diameter than studs with a inch ish lip so hub doesnt slide off. and another on bottom of plate that keeps it on the pail, and center of plate cut out. would be nice for pounding old races out and cleaning gunk out

have you ever used a center punch to "knurle" the race bore? ik its hackjob shit but works surprisingly well. that being said i wouldnt do it on a truck that gets alot of miles, really have only done it for farmers
