@azfoodandexperiences: Save this one because fall in Arizona is about to get GOOD. From pumpkin patches and corn mazes to changing leaves and haunted houses, here are 10 Arizona fall experiences worth adding to your bucket list this year: 1. Schnepf Farms Pumpkin & Chili Party — Queen Creek Oct. 1–31 Admission: starting around $27/person; ages 2 & under FREE This is one of the BIG Arizona fall events. Your admission includes 25+ activities including amusement rides, corn maze, hayrides, petting zoo, live shows, pumpkin patch + more. Pumpkins and food are extra. My rec: Plan several hours here and stay until after dark! Saturdays will be busiest, so go Wednesday/Thursday if you can. The Family 4-Pack is $138 and includes admission + extras. 2. Desert Fall Festival — Surprise Sept. 25–Nov. 1 Admission: starting around $17.95; ages 2 & under FREE Pumpkin maze, huge slide, bungee trampoline, archery, pumpkin bowling, live music, photo ops + more. Some premium attractions like the zipline, roller rink, apple cannons and mechanical bull require additional credits. My rec: This one is open into the evening, so go around sunset for cooler temps + all the nighttime fall vibes. 3. Mother Nature’s Farm — Gilbert Fall season begins Sept. 23 Admission: starting around $15/person One of the classic East Valley pumpkin-patch experiences and a great choice with younger kids. Think pumpkins, farm animals, maze + simple old-school fall fun. My rec: This is a good option if you want a more laid-back pumpkin patch rather than an enormous all-day festival. 4. Arizona State Fair — Phoenix Oct. 1–Nov. 1, Thursdays–Sundays Adults 13+: $20 | Kids 5–12: $12 | Under 4: FREE Rides, carnival games, fair food, animals, exhibits, concerts + all the classic State Fair chaos. Rides/food are additional. 5. Vertuccio Farms Fall Festival — Mesa Oct. 2–31 $17/person | Ages 2 & under FREE Admission includes the 5-acre corn maze, petting zoo, giant slide, barrel train, jump pad, carnival games, playground, ropes course + more. Pumpkins are sold separately. The corn maze is so fun!! 6. Oak Creek Canyon Scenic Drive — Sedona FREE to drive Take 89A between Sedona and Flagstaff for one of the prettiest fall drives in Arizona. The canyon fills with yellow, orange and red foliage, especially along Oak Creek. Individual recreation areas may charge parking/day-use fees. 7. Arizona Snowbowl — Flagstaff Fall operations currently scheduled through approximately Oct. 18 Scenic Gondola tickets use dynamic pricing and can start VERY low when booked early. The enclosed gondola takes you up to 11,500 feet with incredible views over Northern Arizona, and you can get out at the top during the summer/fall season. My rec: Late September/early October is gorgeous when the aspens start turning. Buy online in advance because pricing increases with demand. 8. Apple Annie’s Fall Pumpkin Celebration — Willcox Sept. 26–Oct. 31 Admission + parking: FREE; activities and anything you pick are additional Pumpkin picking, a MASSIVE 12.5-acre corn maze, hayrides on Fridays–Sundays, sunflowers and U-pick produce. You can also hit the orchard for apples and all the apple treats. My rec: Make this a day trip and visit BOTH the orchard and pumpkin farm — they are separate locations. 9. Mortimer Farms Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze — Dewey Late Sept.–Oct. 31 Admission varies by date: roughly $16.50–$27.50 | Ages 2 & under FREE This one is HUGE — corn maze, farm park, animals, hayrides, pick-your-own experiences, food and tons of fall activities across the farm. My rec: If you’re flexible, weekday admission is significantly cheaper than peak October weekends. Plus Dewey is usually much cooler than Phoenix, which makes it actually FEEL like fall. 10. 13th Floor Haunted House — Phoenix Select nights Sept. 19–Nov. 1 Ticket prices vary by night/time One for the adults and older kids who actually want to be SCARED. @Schnepf Farms @vertucciofarmaz @Mortimer Farms @AZSTATEFAIR #az #thingstodoaz #aztravel #azfamily #azvalley
