Truth is in Islam the woman has to be grown and an adult, the Hadith differ, so calling her 6 or 9 as if it’s absolute truth is wrong, she was most likely 16-17 that’s what history points at, either way this shouldn’t even be a topic, discussing Aishas age when there was so much more about her is disrespectful, imagine the prophet hearing us debate this, would you like others debating like this about your wife? I agree with you the 6 and 9 estimate is not absolute and does not have to be accepted

The story that she was engaged at 6 and married at 9 just doesn’t make any sense. It doesn’t even hold up to the most basic logical question. And what makes it worse is that they say people had proposed to her even before that. Like, what? They were proposing to a 4-year-old girl?! I see these narrations as nothing but fabricated stories that were made up later to tarnish the Prophet ﷺ and insult him. The more realistic estimate, based on the historical evidence and the age gap between her and her sister, is that she was around 19 or 20 when she got married. Not that ridiculous story people keep repeating without even thinking about it.
