It’s amazing to me how I feel like the jury is being villainized for not being able to come to a unanimous decision. These are 12 separate people with 12 separate backgrounds, frames of reference, life experience and so and so forth. Trying to decide the fate of one person based off the atrocious actions of said person, regardless of their mental state… this is a humongous burden to have to carry.
