Girl google your car year, make and model and ask what tire pressure makes the “low tire” sensor go off. Then look at your tire- it usually says on the actual tire what it’s supposed to be filled to (or at least the max) if it’s like a ton under then yeah go fill it today, if it’s like 10 psi lower you’re fine for a bit

On the door or door jam there is the tire information you need. It shows the recommended tire pressure. Do not follow the tire pressure that is on the tire. Don’t let it get below 20 you’ll ruin the sidewall of your tires.

Hey girl! Your video popped up on my fyp! As someone who is literally a paraplegic due to a low tire blow out, I ALWAYS make sure my tire pressure is good ❤️I’d buy a cheap gauge and just check it to make sure it’s within healthy limits for peace of mind and your own safety 🫶

no, it's not that serious. typically the light will come on if the tires are more than 3 PSI off, which cold/warm weather can do. It might turn off when it warms up or you can stop at any tire shop wearing that shirt and they'll fill it for free.

It means it’s probably 5 or so psi low depending on the car but why wouldn’t you just stop at a gas station and fill them. See the problem is if you are driving and it starts losing pressure faster there isn’t ANOTHER light that’s gonna come on to warn you so yeah you should DEFINITELY just get it filled immediately rather then put yours and others on the roads safety at risk

Is it that hard to check the tire pressure? Back when I had a car that wouldn’t tell me, I would check each tire to have a base knowledge and time of when they were at that pressure. They are the fucking wheels on your vehicle so you do not crash. I’ve seen dumbasses with shit tires run into side rails because their tires/ pressure sucked ass. Do it for your own safety. At the very least.

No rule for when to fill them because you don’t know if you have slow leak or bad valve stem or a screw in the tire etc. could be fine now but empty in 2 hours or 10 days. If you don’t have a tire pressure gauge grab one at any gas station (they are only a couple bucks and great to have) and check your pressure. Usually those lights don’t come on unless it’s 5lbs of pressure over or under. I would say the longer you drive on a low tire the worse the wear on the tire (and other tires because of pull etc) is. Also LOTS of places will check your pressure for you for free if you don’t want to deal with it. Good luck drive safe

Most likely you are fine, it’s probably not going to blow out. That said driving on a low tire for long periods of time can ruin the tire. If your light is coming on you should check it, but a gauge or most automotive shops will check it for free, you can also pay to fill it on your own at some gas stations

On an indirect (wheel speed-style) TPMS, a tire usually needs to drop about 20% to 25% (roughly 5 to 8 PSI below the recommended baseline) before the system triggers a warning. Open your driver door, look for a (should be yellow) “Tire and loading” sticker, it will tell you the correct PSI.

If it doesn't look low, chances are pretty good its not gonna blow out. Get a tire pressure gague though, theyre pretty cheap. Proper tire pressure values are on a sticker on the inside of your door jamb, and printed on the tire itself. Also, tire pressure will drop a few PSI in cooler temps which can cause the tpms light to come on.

Get a digital inflator that plugs into the cigarette lighter. You can monitor it for small leaks and refill as necessary. Or just to top off a real puncture that holds air so that you can get to a shop.
