But but but the burlebo backpacks aren’t even cute… I much prefer the simple modern ones. Quality and kid/tween/teen friendly prints and colors 🥰 also, the clear bag policy only makes sense if every bag they take into school with them is clear, all visitors have clear bags or get bags checked before stepping into the school, and all staff has clear bags only… this would include lunch boxes, instrument cases, gym bags, hell even water bottles. I can see why some could be upset then.

We have that clear backpack rule, no big deal.. but what doesn’t make sense to me is, their lunch box/bag doesn’t have to clear nor does any kind of pencil bag.

how durable are the clear backpacks? I had a job with a clear bag policy in the warehouse (for theft prevention) and I swear I had to replace mine every 3-6 months because the straps would break off

am i the only parent that loved taking my kids to pick a new back pack every year? (clear or not) we got new ones every year (I have 4 kids too). clear would have been fine too they can add stickers lol.

I asked my 8yr old son if he wanted a new bookbag this year. this kid seriously looked at me confused and said, why mine still works. I asked, are you sure I will get you a new one. he said uuhhh mom no I dont need one. 🤷♀️🤣🤣🤣❤️

What’s really sad is they think their kids personality is based on material things. That’s called personal style, not personality. Most important point is the school is trying to do something to protect your children.

Fine by me. I can wipe it down with a bleach wipe and avoid the washing machine. Although with as much junk my kid shoves in their backpack you’d never know what all is in that Mary popping bag buried in the old papers and snack wrappers 😭😂
