Guys, I cannot stress enough how true the 2nd to last slide is. (6) I was fired today, the owner literally looked me in the eye and said "you hit all your targets, I don't think you're a terrible person morally, you're excellent operationally, but we have to part ways because you don't represent our core values and don't speak life into the team". I was dumbfounded. I exceeded every metric my boss gave me, would rush into the store in the middle of the night on multiple occasions for flooding, CO2 leaks, etc... And I was fired because I wasn't nice enough. All my managers texted me after he announced it letting me know they were sorry and tried defending me. Now they're quitting cause I was the only reason they stuck around. :/

instead of smoke break, which is unhealthy and nasty, i told my boss I'm going on 2-3 10-minute walks per day. he said "you can't do that". i asked him if he wanted a healthy employee, or one that smells like an ashteay with a nagging cough. he let me, every day.

If you are interviewing even if you had been laid off always use a higher income if they ask how much you where paid. Make other stuff up too. “I was paid around 100k salary then I had a nice bonus structure that paid out around 60k a year” this generally make you seem more valuable to the people doing the interview. Now obviously adjust your amounts to the job and never go crazy with it don’t say I made 500k when applying to an internship that’s silly.

My dad taught me that if you need new wipers for your car is park next to the same brand and type of car you have but one that is shiny and new. Swap wipers with yours and boom new wipers

Fewer and fewer jobs are asking the salary thing since many jurisdictions now require posting of salary ranges. I won’t even apply for a job if there’s no salary listed

I never want my employers to pay me more than they think I am worth. From past experience, it becomes a major source of resentment and creates an extremely toxic relationship.

Taking multiple smoke brakes is addiction. Someone who takes a lot of them for extended periods of time has no respect for others. A sign they can’t do their job appropriately. Fire them.

I lied about my previous work income to my new employer and he offered 100€ more than the invome i told him.. And my colleague told the truth about his income and he hot 100€ more than the income he had.. So im getting payed 1000€ and he's getting payed 600€ 😂
