@theathletic: Stan Kroenke is buying the Angels. Can he bring winning back to Anaheim? #losangelesangels #MLB #baseball #losangeles

Menace to Sobriety :

As a White Sox fan I cannot put into words how jealous I am of you guys

Phil :

Most likely due to NFL ownership rules he will have to change the name of the team back to either the Anaheim Angels or California Angels

Val Torres :

I’m old school. CALIFORNIA Angels all the way.

Ethan J :

as an stl guy you won’t like them

mariaisabelabarca ⟢ :

JayricoRos :

MF CH1LL :

WE ARE PROUDLY NOT LA!!!!!

big_o35 :

It won’t end well for the angels though gotta invest long term in the farm system

rlomeli93 :

When the world drains your spirit and your heart feels heavy‑laden, let us wander beneath starlit skies and chase soft twilight together. You may carry all your battles bravely, and I will cradle the vulnerable soul hidden deep within you. To me, you stand apart from all others; your peace matters more than my own joy. May you find rest and gentle nourishment, and you will live within every quiet wish I whisper to the stars.✨🌺

Boring Old Guy :

here was my POV. #SellTheTeam!

Jackson :

Talman :

Kroenke has been cheap everywhere but with the rams. Ownership change is good, but watching the nuggets and avalanche fail every year after winning titles with low financial investment should be a warning

Jordy Balogh :

Hard not to be happy for Angels fans

SwanJay23 :

I don't care for the Angels, but I know how huge this is for them. I'm happy for them. y'all are gonna be good in a few years! congrats for surviving the Atre Moreno years! glorious day for mlb, we get a team back.

jsoto213 :

I don't know what y'all complaing about. Moreno after the initial purchase spent money on the team. Out bidding for elite and coveted free agents like Bartolo Colón, Vladdy Guerrero, Albert Pujols and Anthony Rendon. Had the team contenting for divisions every year and making it to the ALCS 2x! They were more popular than the Dodgers y'all forget that he out bidded for Josh Hamilton, CJ Wilson, Anthony Rendon & Matt Harvey and they all failed to perform. Last few years probably felt burned by bad contacts. Can't say he didn't try.
