It IS annoying af when they send a "___ go rescue" WHILE IM LITERALLY RESCUING. "____ decode the cipher" IM DECODING STFU. It's not inherently toxic but it should be used sparingly imo bc it gets real old real quick

People forget that these pings exist to communicate, the toxicity behind it is manufactured by people. I've had exactly two randos in my whole five months of playing this game actually use those pings properly and - wouldnt you know it - when everyone actually listened and communicated back we guaranteed a tie and a win..

Fr when there’s two people with tide on a team before someone goes down I ping who goes to rescue first before the first kite gets downed to make sure they prepare a route but apparently in post match I get “stop telling me what to do” like oh ok…

People really need to get a grip and not get so offended over pings. I don’t care if you’re already moving to go rescue ima ping you to go rescue because sometimes randoms just don’t have a brain and I ping as a form of pulse checking to make sure we don’t throw. Unless you’re getting spammed to stay hidden just keep it pushing

communication is important, and still, there are so many people in match who tell people what to do and how to do it even if teammates who aren't kiting are decoding or going to rescue like is planned. it's one thing when you playing with random people for the first 10 seconds and unsure if they are bright in the head or not, but when you deep into the match and see that people are decoding, kiting, and rescuing because they know what they're doing - why would you spam people what to do? it feels like you're not trusting your teammates with basic things and babying them
