Mr. Nyame :
This video brought back so many memories from my JHS days. After our last paper before moving to JHS 2, I overheard some of my colleagues saying, “Even with all his seriousness, he won’t be able to afford the SHS admission fees, so we’ll all end up staying home without continuing our education. Honestly, those words almost discouraged me from taking my education seriously. Then, after we were promoted to JHS 2, I heard about the introduction of Free SHS by Nana Addo, and I was incredibly happy. That policy gave me renewed hope and removed one of the major financial barriers standing between me and my education. Fast-forward to today, I have graduated from UEW, largely because of the results I obtained at WASSCE. Along the way, someone who wasn’t even a relative stepped in to support me financially when I got to Level 200. Sadly, she passed away, but God continued to make a way for me and saw me through to the end. Looking back, I’m deeply grateful for the people God used to support me and for policies that create opportunities for less-privileged people to pursue their education. I’m especially grateful to this political party for policies that have made a meaningful difference in the lives of many ordinary people in this country.
